IMPORTANT – FACTORY ASSEMBLY NOTICE
Hasbro has stated on social media that approximately 6,000 G.I. Joe Classified King Cobra Commander figures were shipped with an assembly error involving the regalia/cords on the right arm. On these early-production figures, the cords were incorrectly positioned entirely over the top of the shoulder.
Hasbro identified and corrected the issue after these units had already shipped. Unfortunately, our inventory was part of this earlier shipment and therefore contains the incorrect factory assembly.
Please be aware of this issue before purchasing. These figures are being sold AS-IS with the factory assembly error described above and are not eligible for return or replacement due to this issue.
For collectors who intend to open the figure, an unofficial fix has been reported to be relatively simple. It involves heating the arm, removing it at the bicep, repositioning the shoulder peg through the center of the two larger cords, and reinstalling the arm with the smaller cords positioned on top.
Any attempt to modify or correct the figure is done entirely at the buyer's own risk. We do not recommend or guarantee the results of any modification.
